Many people make the mistake of filling in 234 as Nigeria’s zip code; this doesn’t seem right.
The international dialing code for Nigerian phone numbers is 234, rather than the Nigeria zip code itself.
When asked to fill in the Nigeria zip code or postal code in a form, you should use 110001, 23401, or 00176. Any of these codes should work.
Note: Nigeria’s zip code and postal code mean the same thing.
